Newton Design Receives Patent for Velocity Modular Wall System

Newton Design is pleased to announce that our patent application for the Modular Wall System, brand named “Velocity”, has been approved. The Velocity system is an inexpensive, easily transportable, tool free wall system that can be deployed and configured to replicate nearly any interior environment as quickly as possible. Utilizing our panel interlocking system, the user has the ability to quickly construct any space on 4” increments. Velocity wall panels are easily reconfigured due to the integrated handles and lightweight construction. Standard wall panels weigh less than 70lbs. Room configurations can be constructed completely tool free in nearly any type of environment by a single user.

Velocity has been tested to withstand various types of Non Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA), including Simunition FX marking cartridges, Ultimate Training Munitions (UTM), and Man Marking Rounds (MMR). Velocity features handle pocket covers and a low luster finish to make it compatible with laser tracking and video projection systems.
