Newton Design excels at custom-designed mechanical, structural, electrical, and software systems. Most simulation and training systems we deliver are designed and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. We work closely with the customer to provide equipment that meets user requirements at a cost that is within budget. Our years of experience give us the ability to ask the right questions regarding customer needs and wants.
Design Capabilities
Newton’s design team includes mechanical, electrical, and software specialists, giving us complete simulation and training system design capabilities. The design department uses 3-D modeling software to develop our simulation and training equipment, from the initial conception to the release for manufacturing. Designs are reviewed with the customer at various stages, allowing revisions to be implemented as customer specifications evolve. Overall concept models, as well as detailed component models, allow customers to “see” the simulator as it is being developed. Designs can be based upon technical data, or collected from alternative sources by Newton’s talented team. Newton’s design department has the capability to work with data in numerous formats, including SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
